Dear Valued Partner,

When you are part of our family, we hold nothing back. What’s ours is yours. That’s because we know we could never be where we are today without travel agents like you. As partners in travel, we’ve been through thick and thin together, boom and bust, for better or for worse. So, we’re here to share the secrets of our success with you because we believe that, ultimately, the secret to our success is you.

We wholeheartedly believe that 2012 is going to be a great year for you as a travel agent. And we’ve made sure that the New Year will bring about a host of new opportunities for you. Below are just a few of the highlights.

The expanding scope and all-inclusive nature of our products – along with the relatively high commissions that tours provide – are important opportunities for you in 2012. With four brands to choose from—Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways—you can find a vacation to fit just about everyone. Each brand offers a unique way to see the world, but with the same, hassle-free logistics you’ve come to expect from the Globus family of brands.

New destinations, especially tours to the Americas, are a growth opportunity for travel sellers in 2012. The Globus family of brands is continuing its partnership with the National Park Foundation to provide unique tour experiences in America’s national parks. Plus, for each U.S. National Parks vacation you book, your helping to make a difference; Globus will make a contribution to the National Park Foundation for every traveler you bring.

In May 2011, when Avalon Waterways unveiled the Avalon Panorama, the industry’s first Suite Ship, the cruise line redefined the river cruise experience by enhancing traveler comfort and views, while also bringing indoor/outdoor living on board.  And, thanks in part to unprecedented sales for the Panorama, things at Avalon are about to get even more “suite.”   In 2012, the company will introduce two more Suite Ships – the Avalon Vista and Avalon Visionary.

We realize that as a travel agent, building a business requires all the right tools. That’s why we’ve made significant investments in our travel agent resources for 2012—from our Travel Agent Portal to our marketing and training support. We have also formed a new partnership with VAX VacationAccess, which provides agents with free access to tools to grow their businesses, and even more opportunities for research, marketing and selling.
