Overview of Program: This is an online, multimedia learning experience designed to be both educational and entertaining. From stone-age monuments to cosmopolitan city limits you will discover the delights Ireland has to offer. The course is divided in to five modules. You will explore Ireland’s diverse nature and scenery, their culture and the arts, the island history, its people, festivals and touring options. You will learn about the places to go, things to do, events, dining, accommodations, transportation options and general visitors facts. Basically, everything you need to know to plan your clients visit will be provided. Once you have completed all five modules of the comprehensive course, you will then qualify for a variety of benefits.

Eligibility Requirements: Open to all U.S. and Canadian Travel Agents

Benefits: The free (non-subscription) benefits include: A Shamrock Club certificate, an E-Postcard Tool, which enables you to email your customers attractive Irish postcards, an invitation to attend a yearly Familiarization Trip to Ireland, a quarterly newsletter, use of the Shamrock Club Logo to promote your qualification, preferred agent status with Tourism Ireland and a Dedicated Helpline for ordering brochures or any Ireland information. In addition, an optional fee based subscription benefits package will entitle you to: Website Listing: Your agency's details will be listed on our website, www.tourismireland.com, as a preferred Travel Agency for Ireland, Consumer Referrals from your area will be available for download in MS Excel each month and free promotional materials: Letterhead & Postcards.

Cost: The cost of the specialist program is FREE. However once you have become a member of the Shamrock Club, the optional 12 month subscription Benefits Package costs $99.
