Overview of Program: The program is a self-study online training guide made up of 17 sections with comprehensive information on multiple Asia destinations and airlines that service the Asia Pacific region from North America. It is a collective effort to educate the travel agent community on unique value propositions, features and benefits of major Asia destinations with the ultimate goal of increasing outbound leisure and corporate travel to Asia. Helpful suggestions for selling each destination accompany ideas for day and longer trips, additional web site resources, pronunciations and maps are included. Candidates must obtain a minimum of 80% on each of the eight quizzes required and also successfully sell an Asia tour package to obtain certification status.
Eligibility Requirements: U.S. and Canadian Travel Professionals are invited to participate.

Cost: FREE through Royal Scenic. However, a very similar course (East Asia Specialist) is offered at the Travel Institute for a cost of $20 for the content and $39 for the accompanying test.
