www.PortReviews.com Need information for your clients about cruise ports? This growing site will be invaluable to you.

www.Cruise-Chat.com  A great, travel agent friendly chat board

www.Cruise-Links.com  Here is a great compilation of cruise links on the web.

Travel Industry Trade Publications

www.TravelTrade.com  Don't be confused by myriad travel publications.  Travel Trade was the first and is still the best for small agencies. It only costs $10 per year or $20 for 3 years and is well worth it if you intend to sell travel.  Travel Trade's Editor, Joel Abels has done more for home-based travel agents than all other media put together....support him!

www.TravelWeekly.com Here is a twice weekly national publication of interest to serious travel agents.

www.TravelAgentMag.com  Here is a weekly magazine, interesting but not Travel Trade.

www.TravelAgeWest.com  This is a good publication if you reside in the 11 Western States.

Travel Industry Associations

www.NACTA.com NACTA is the association for home-based travel agents and should be the first thing you join when you either start out or are established for years.  NACTA is The association for home based travel agents, cruise oriented travel agents and independent contractors.

www.ASTAnet.com  ASTA (the American Society of Travel Agents is the largest association of travel agents in the world. ASTA also owns NACTA and operates NACTA as a separate entity.  While ASTA offers a membership for home-based agents, NACTA is a much better choice.
