Nevada Seller of Travel Law

Nevada Seller of Travel Law

With the passage of Assembly Bill 561, the State of Nevada temporarily suspended seller of travel registration as of July 1, 2009. In the past, the State of Nevada required all sellers of travel to register with the Consumer Affairs Division of the Department of Business and Industry.  Nevada also required payment into a Consumer Recovery Fund. The law also required that all consumer funds be held in a trust account within the state of Nevada.

The next possible reinstatement of the law will be in 2015 and it is unclear if it will ever be reinstated.
