Starwood Hotels & Resorts continues our mission to help educate our travel professional partners on global destinations. This month we release our Canada destination concentration for ProLearning – Starwood Destinations, Canada. With the addition of this module, Starwood now offers eleven destination immersions available at Showcasing the cities of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, this module displays the destinations of Canada truly offer something for every traveler.

Metropolitan cities, cultural diversity, shopping, active options and so much more are all part of the destination immersion for Canada. With such a breadth of properties throughout these three cities and their surrounding areas, Starwood has much to offer your customers considering a Canadian vacation. The unique story-selling learning method is designed to help you to truly create a vacation tale for your customers that highlights the CN Tower and its incredible views, Stanley Park and its magical experiences, the incredibly varied cuisine options and more.

From the Historic Old Montreal region, offering a unique combination of old and new, to the waterfront Cosmopolitan city of Toronto that is a fusion of more than 100 cultures, to the vast expanse of Vancouver – one of the largest, most ethnically and linguistically diverse and liveliest cities in the world – Starwood is a part of all this action and has a property to suit each type of traveler in these destinations. We are an active part of the Canadian travel community and we are thrilled to offer this destination immersion to help encourage our global sellers to bring their customers to Canada’s destinations.

Starwood welcomes discerning “foodie” clients to the W Montreal with fine dining at the Otto Ristorante or to the Le Meridien Versailles to enjoy the nearby museums, shops and galleries. Additional Starwood Montreal properties include Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel in the heart of downtown Montreal, Aloft Montreal Airport at the doorstep of the international airport and the Sheraton Montreal Airport, featuring the full service One Spa retreat.

Existing ProLearning destination modules have already been viewed by thousands of current StarwoodPros. Destinations available include the recently launched Greece and Thailand Resorts modules, as well as Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, The Maldives, Fiji, Bali, Hainan Island China and Macau. Each module can be explored one destination at a time and travel professionals can return to their last completed section at any time. Certificates are provided for each module and a virtual concierge with additional resources is available once logged in to StarwoodPro.Additional destinations will debut throughout the year.

More than 40,000 travel professionals have completed ProLearning’s Loyalty & Brands module and are now qualified for STARPRO travel professional rates, bookable at and starting from just $69 a night. Travel professionals must be a StarwoodPro Loyalty & Brands graduate to gain access to the exciting new Starwood Destinations modules and other exclusive benefits.
