StarwoodPro’s Anniversary Celebration
Continues With Eight Texas Trips & Additional Prize Opportunities  

STAMFORD, Conn., – May 15, 2014– The Starwood Hotels & Resorts StarwoodPro five year anniversary celebration continues with new content for training and new prizes for StarwoodPros to win. Debuting today is the new Texas destination module, the 17th destination immersion now available to StarwoodPros. This new immersion highlights Texas entertainment, shopping, attractions, dining and showcases the portfolio of Starwood hotels in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston, Texas. All StarwoodPros who complete this module by June 15 will be entered to win one of eight two-night stays in the Texas portfolio of hotels as part of the StarwoodPro celebration.

In the Texas module, participants will learn the attributes of Texas and the unique opportunity Texas has for customers to experience all nine Starwood brands among the more than 40 Starwood hotels available..

In the first few months of celebration, Starwood has already awarded more than $30,000 in prizes to its participating StarwoodPros. Among the prizes shared last month, StarwoodPros won gift cards, seven stays at California properties, a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper® bed, a full set of Sweet Sleeper Bedding and other branded Sheraton gifts.

Throughout the year-long celebration, Starwood will offer fabulous prizes: including gift cards, free nights, branded gifts, and more. Every module a travel professional completes or has completed in the last five years will be an entry for a chance to win.
