This month we wanted to share some good news with you and to thank you for your continued support of Starwood and of our award-winning SPG Pro program.

SPG® Pro has been selected as a 2015 Gold Magellan Award Winner in two categories. A gold was awarded for Hospitality |Loyalty Program and Hospitality | Advertising/Marketing Campaign.

Travel Weekly announced the winners of The 2015 Magellan Awards on Sept 9. With entries from across the U.S. and around the world, the Magellan Award winners represent the best in the travel industry and salute the outstanding travel professionals behind it all.

In our nomination for SPG Pro for loyalty we highlighted the unique opportunity to earn points for your personal travel and to be rewarded for your professional sales. In nominating our marketing campaign, we highlighted the unique visual identity featuring real meeting and travel professionals while at work in our hotels and creating a robust 360-degree marketing plan was deployed across all global channels including online media, trade media, emails, events, print collateral, social media, video, PR and testimonials.

According to Travel Weekly, “The 2015 Magellan Awards received entries from top travel organizations and professionals worldwide and the quality of the work was outstanding. Being selected a Magellan Award Winner is a tremendous achievement and proves you represent a high standard of excellence within the travel industry.
