SPG Pro, our all-new, comprehensive loyalty program travel professionals, is live effective October. 15. The new program offers you, our partners, SPG elite status, upgrades and Starpoints for B2B business booked at any of Starwood’s nearly 1,200 properties around the world.

I want to thank all of you who have already linked your existing StarwoodPro accounts and encourage those of you who may not yet be part of our travel professional program to go to SPG Pro at http://www.spg.com/pro. Current StarwoodPros will need to take action to link their existing account to retrieve all of their ProLearning history.

We at Starwood are so grateful for the commitment the more than 50,000 travel professionals from 106 countries around the world have made to StarwoodPro. The launch of SPG Pro demonstrates Starwood’s unwavering commitment to supporting the travel professional and the travel agency segment.

SPG Pro leverages the power of SPG, Starwood’s industry-leading loyalty program, while combining the best of StarwoodPro into one integrated offering.

The new reward structure, for bookings made beginning today, is:

• Earn 1 Starpoint for every US$3 of eligible room revenue when you book leisure or business travel for your clients — and for any groups, meetings and events you plan with us. Eligible rate plans include retail commissionable rates booked via the GDS, CCC, Starwood web sites or Starwood property direct.

• Earn 1 eligible night toward elite status for every 20 group room nights* or room nights you book for your clients. Elite status means more Starpoints and elevated benefits when you stay with us personally, including late checkout, room upgrades and more.

• Redeem your Starpoints for Free Night Awards without blackout dates, merchandise, free flights or get VIP access to exclusive experiences like amazing concerts and celebrity meet and greets — among many other redemption options. You could even gift SPG points, or use them to treat your clients perhaps to a wonderful spa treatment when booked at one of our resorts, what a great way to earn loyalty beyond reason.

• Track your client bookings, personal earnings, progress to elite status and ProLearning history all in one simple account.
